About Us

Las Vegas APHON (LVAPHON) is the local chapter of the Association of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurses. LVAPHON serves the pediatric hematology and oncology nurses and healthcare providers of the Las Vegas Valley. We offer educational and networking opportunities for our members. We seek to enhance the professional growth of our members so we can better serve our patients and families. LVAPHON holds frequent educational meetings as well as fundraising and service projects throughout the year. 

The Association of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurses (APHON) is a national professional organization for pediatric hematology/oncology nurses.  Its members are dedicated to promoting optimal nursing care for children and adolescents with cancer and their families. APHON hosts annual national conferences for educational and networking opportunities for pediatric hematology/oncology nurses.
